Proactive arrests made today across Fulham.

Community Update – Fulham SNT

I think it is important to highlight the proactive work being carried out by your local Fulham Safer Neighbourhood Team.

Today alone, we have made two arrests:

A male was identified by our Licensing Officer at Wetherspoons on Fulham Broadway attempting to sell stolen meat to customers. The lone officer who was in plainclothes followed the male, and monitored his behaviour as he entered Marks & Spencer on Fulham Broadway. Before further crimes were committed, she requested assistance. Fulham SNT officers attended promptly, resulting in an arrest for shoplifting, handling stolen goods, and assault.

Separately, one of your excellent PCSOs spotted a wanted offender on the street. Police officer colleagues were quickly on hand and made sure this individual was also arrested and will be before the courts tomorrow.

My teams are committed to making Fulham even safer and will actively tackle acquisitive crime which cause businesses so much financial harm. They will also identify and arrest offenders who seek to evade justice.
